Get Kids Involved
It's a great idea to get kids involved in gardening. Gardening teaches children about the environment, the food they eat, and wildlife.  Getting kids involved in gardening at a young age can create a lifelong interest. It gets them involved in a worthwhile activity. There are some great websites with project ideas and tips on how to get kids of any age involved in gardening. Just check some of the links below.

Schools
The Prince George's County master gardeners are involved with schools by working with school children in creating a gardening project for their school. The project can be anything from a vegetable garden to a beautification project. Involving the children is a hands-on education.
