The Bay-Wise program is one of the strongest state-wide Master Gardener programs. Participating counties have adapted the state Bay-Wise materials and developed their own unique approaches to helping homeowners achieve and maintain sustainable landscapes.

Many Bay-Wise participants have expressed a desire to get together with MGs in other counties who are also working with this program to share their experiences, approaches and materials.

Following up from out Nov 18 meeting, Bay-Wise representatives from different counties and Baltimore City will get together on Jan 27, 2009 to work on materials they use in common and determine how to fund them. Other policies and issues of statewide importance will be discussed.

Coffee and snacks will be provided, but please bring your own bag lunch and drink.
